The
Pacific & American Railroad
will utilize the Clinton Sub route as the Clinton
Sub-Division of the Belle Plaine Division. The Clinton
Sub route is a freeware
route created by Craig Hatlestad.
The Clinton Sub-Division will have two connections
on its' westward end. One is at Belle Plaine which connects
to St. Maries in the Hoodoo Pass Sub-Division. The second
connection is also at Belle Plaine and will connect to Oildale
in the Tehachapi Sub-Division. The eastward connection
at Clinton connects to vNERR's Bison Rail.
The
Clinton Sub-Division runs in an eastward direction from
Belle Plaine almost paralleling a portion of the southern end
of the Hoodoo Sub-Division. Because of the
close proximity of the two lines management decided to extend
track and make a connection between the North Yard of
the Clinton Sub-Division and the Prosser
Yard on the Hoodoo Sub-Division.
The
Clinton Sub-Division features several major yards and
many industrial sidings and spurs. The Clinton Grain terminal
and yard is located in the eastern portion of the sub-division.
There are a number of metal manufacturing plants and several
granaries as well as other grain related industries. There is
a Cargill plant and a General Mills plant in the Beverly yard
area. A power plant and Quaker Oats manufacturing facility also
have a home on the route.
Public
transportation needs are accommodated by twelve passenger platforms
located along the route.
Pacific
& American
will be using equipment and activities for
Clinton Sub-Division work orders from:
·
The
P&A Fleet
·
The Tehachapi Pass II and add-ons
·
Cajon
Pass Route and add-ons
·
Cascade
Crossing equipment
You
will not have to download trains from any place other than Pacific
& American. We host our own trains which use
our physics to make them compatible with MSTS routes and equipment
and to make them as real as we can make them and still be fun
to use. They can be found on the P&A
Fleet pages. However, you will have to purchase the
routes and other add ons to run work orders that require
them. |
