I've got to learn not to use the 6-view when not on the CNW:

SPEED LIMIT ADHERENCE:
You exceeded the speed limit 1 time, for a total duration of 1 minute and 34 seconds.

08:24:48 - at mile post 277.80 you exceeded the speed limit of 45mph for 1 minute and 34 seconds at a maximum speed of 2868mph

That was some slack action! I'd slowed a bit when I took the aerial view.

The RDC's coupler settings are probably bad.

Or the flat car (I think both are straight from the P&A roster). Works fine in the 2 or 3 external view. I've had the same problem, but usually shooting off the end of a siding, on other routes and other equipment. I just stay away from the end-of-car 6-view when coupling on routes other than vCNWRR.

I forgot about problems with the flat cars' coupler settings... I don't think they are set to couple in both directions.

Use the AE try reversing the order of the flat cars. Instead of XXXXX-0, 1, 2, 3 try XXXXX-3, 2, 1, 0.

I use the end-of-car 6 view for all coupling operations and never had a problem with it.

Turns out this flatcar is a 3DTS flat with tractor load. Don't remember which road it came with - I have several of theirs. The .wag file is 3DTS_FlatcarNH17212L1.wag if that helps. AFTER vacation, I may look and see what needs fixing in the physics of that car.

I think it came with Donner Pass.

Like I said, sometimes it helps if you reverse the consist. Front couplers prefer to be coupled to rear couplers, especially for wagons with pre-bin physics.
